american ninja warrior anw 2020 season 12 locations taping schedule tickets how to attend on camera audiences

Introduction

Regular readers of Middle Age Miles know that we love American Ninja Warrior (ANW). Last June, we got to attend part of the tapings of the National Finals and Super Skills competitions in Las Vegas. We wrote about our experience (as best we could in light of confidentiality obligations related to shows that had not yet aired) and provided lots of tips about how to attend and enjoy the Vegas Finals in this article:

For those who may be interested in attending an ANW taping in 2020, we wanted to provide a follow-up to pass along the locations and dates and let you know how you can get free tickets to the tapings.

Dates and Locations for ANW 2020 Tapings

Here is the schedule of dates and locations for ANW 2020 tapings:

  • Los Angeles – March 13 & 14
  • Washington, DC – April 6 & 7 + April 11 & 12
  • St. Louis – May 5 & 6 + May 10 & 11
  • Las Vegas (Finals) – “early June”

Most ANW tapings occur at night and the courses are outdoors; however, this year the Washington DC and St. Louis tapings are both indoors and will tape during the afternoon and early evening.

The exact dates of the tapings of the National Finals and other events in Las Vegas have not been announced. Last year, the Vegas taping dates were June 18-23, with the actual Finals taping on the nights of June 18-19.

How Can You Get Tickets to ANW Tapings?

To get tickets to ANW tapings, go to this page online:

No tickets are available yet. On Camera Audiences says that it expects to make tickets available about 30 days ahead of each taping. You can sign up now on the On Camera Audiences website to receive notifications when tickets are released.

Note that the ANW taping tickets are line passes only and do not guarantee entry into the event. You’ll still need to arrive early and wait in line to make sure you get in. Also remember that you’re going to the taping of a TV show, which is very different than attending a spectator-focused sporting event. See our previous ANW article for much more information about attending an ANW taping what to expect.

For us, attending the Vegas Finals of ANW was a lot of fun. The top ninja athletes who compete in these events are truly amazing and very much worth seeing in person!
